My training as a counselor with Rhodes Wellness College has provided me with foundational tools to support individuals in overcoming personal obstacles and challenges, whether it be emotionally, mentally or spiritually. My 39 years of experience as a registered and practicing occupational therapist, helps to inform my work from the standpoint of healthcare and physical wellness. Some of my areas of special interest are working with individuals dealing with persistent pain and chronic disability, death/dying/grief/loss, and relationship/couples’ therapy. My work is trauma-informed.
I warmly welcome folx in BIPOC and 2SLGBTQIA+ communities.
Some of the tools at my disposal are modalities such as cognitive-behavioural therapy, narrative therapy, somatic therapy, psychodrama, energy psychology, and career counseling.
